Hi, I’m Gemma and I am the sole person running the show, with a little help from my husband Stu, who helps with the website and photo taking (chasing our son), and Ozzie, my son who does the occasional modelling (if we can catch him).

I design and sew every item with love and care and package it up to send your way.

 

I have a degree in fashion and textiles after graduating from University of Central Lancashire.

I have loved fashion from a young age and have had many projects of designing, styling and crafting over the years but after wanting a family and stability I found myself working in an office job in the legal sector…..

That was until I was diagnosed with Postpartum Rheumatoid Arthritis as a result of having my baby.

Realising that it was not possible for me to go back to the office with such a chronic illness I realised I needed to start working for myself and juggling my own time whilst navigating this diagnosis my way.

That’s when I launched OHA Childrenswear.

I love dressing my son like the coolest little dude he is and I thought why not make him his own personal clothes that I can save as keepsakes (I’m a nostalgic hoarder).

That’s when other people commented on how they would love me to make their little wonder a similar design….and then BOOM!!! OHA Childrenswear came to life.
